Building Opportunities
Many of the people we work with face unique challenges in accessing employment.
Challenges such as:
- Language barriers;
- Unrecognised qualifications;
- A lack of UK work experience/history which can often prevent refugees from entering the workforce.

Many people struggle with homelessness and mental health issues caused by the traumatic experiences they endured fleeing war, violence, and poverty.
Our programmes now contain a significant number of participants who are refugees, demonstrating its inclusive nature.
We offered tailored support as well as pathways to jobs and work experience within the construction industry, supporting refugees to rebuild their lives, contribute to the workforce and local communities.
We continue to engage with these participants after the completion of their programme as part of our The Voice of Community (Volunteer Programme) sharing their lived experiences.
More details and opportunities to get involved coming soon.
We believe
Every person should have an opportunity to overcome barriers and achieve their fullest potential and contribute fully to their community.
